Alex Flanagan

She graduated from the University of Arizona and Salpointe Catholic High School in Tucson, Arizona. She's worked with as part of the NFL Network, as an anchor/reporter. On NBC Sports she is a reporter on the sidelines of some of the Notre Dame Football home matches and Football Night in America. Flanagan can be seen and heard on television during Madden 10 or Madden 11 video games, where she hosts the weekly game recap show alongside Fran Charles. Alex was born in Sonoita Arizona. Kevin Flanagan is the former University of Arizona Basketball player she was married to. They have two daughters and one son. Alex's family is the owner of Arizona steak restaurants "The Steak Out" (located in Sonoita) and Dove Mountain. Flanagan started her career with KVOA-TV while a college student and anchoring news. In 1998 she started covering sports. She worked as a reporter and anchor of NBC Sports as well as NFL Network, ESPN and Fox Sports. Furthermore, she was part in the Gamma Phi Beta sorority. When she graduated, Flanagan got her first job on TV as a general assignment news reporter and weekend anchor at KCCO-TV located in Alexandria, Minnesota. Andrea Mitchell works as a reporter for NBC News based out of Washington D.C. Mitchell has earned a bachelor's degree in English from the University of Pennsylvania.
